Analog Input (X8)

The drive is fitted with differential inputs for analog torqueTorque is the tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis. Just as a force is a push or a pull, a torque can be thought of as a twist, velocity, or position control. The standard drive offers one analog input on X8.

Application examples for set point input Analog-In:

Defining the direction of rotation

Standard setting: clockwise rotation of the motor shaft (looking at the shaft end) affected by positive voltage between terminal (+ ) and terminal ( - )

To reverse the direction of rotation, swap the connections to terminals +/-, or change the DRV.DIR parameter in the “Feedback 1” screen page.
